Carlisle Angling Association
Although the fishing in and around Carlisle is renowned mainly for it's Salmon fishing, there is also some very good trout and grayling fishing available to members and visitors alike. The association has water on the River Eden and on the River Caldew.

Appleby Angling Association controls around 14 miles of fishing on the River Eden.

Kirkby Stephen and District Angling Association controls some 9 miles of fishing on the River Eden with a further 4 miles on the River Belah and Scandal Beck.
Eden is a beautiful corner of Cumbria in the north of England, taking in the lakes and mountains around Ullswater, part of the Lake District National Park and the moorlands of the North Pennines around Alston, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. In between, the River Eden flows through the rolling countryside of the Eden Valley

The River Eden and District Fisheries Association (REDFA) was formed following the demise of the Cumberland River Board in 1951 to represent and proclaim the interests of the River Eden's anglers, clubs and riparian owners.
Eden Rivers Trust
The trust was formed in 1996, their mission is to assist in the conservation, protection and improvement of rivers, streams, their bank sides and all associated wildlife in the Eden catchment.
